Privacy notice

Rosa Isela Ramírez Salazar, veterinarian (MVZ) (hereinafter, "the Controller"), with an address for legal notices at Degollado Sur 361, Col. María Luisa, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of the personal data you provide on this site, by WhatsApp, by email or in a consultation.

For any matter related to this notice you can write to contacto@rosaiselaramirezhomeopatia.com.

Depending on the service you request, the Controller may process the following data:

• Identification and contact: name, email and phone number.
• Appointment details: the day and time you prefer and the message you send.
• Animal data, when the consultation is for your pet: species, age, medical history, habits and treatments.
• Health data, when the consultation is for you: your health, habits and history, needed for the homeopathic consultation. This is sensitive data (section 3).
• Discovery-call record: name, email, phone number and date, to check that it is offered only once per person.
• Tax data, only if you request an invoice.

Online card payments are made through Stripe. The Controller neither receives nor stores your card details.

Information about your health is sensitive personal data. The Controller processes it only with your express consent: the consent you give by ticking the consent box on this site's forms, for what you share in your message, and the consent you give in writing, with your signature, before the first consultation.

This data is used only to care for you and is protected with administrative, technical and physical security measures.

Purposes needed for the service you request:

• Answering your messages and requests.
• Booking, confirming and following up on your appointments, including the discovery call.
• Keeping the record of each patient or client and following up on the treatment.
• Handling the deposit and payments, and issuing receipts or invoices.

Additional purposes, which require your consent:

• Sending you the newsletter with natural health tips and course announcements, only if you subscribe.
• Publishing your review on this site, only if you authorise it in writing.

You can refuse the additional purposes at any time, with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by writing to contacto@rosaiselaramirezhomeopatia.com, without affecting the care you receive.

To run this site and its communications, the Controller relies on providers that process data on her behalf and under her instructions, and that may store it outside Mexico:

• Vercel: website hosting and visit statistics.
• Resend: sending the forms and the newsletter by email.
• Cloudflare: forwarding contact email.
• Google (Gmail): the Controller's inbox.
• Meta (WhatsApp): messages and, where applicable, video calls.
• Stripe: online card payments, when used.
• Sanity: the discovery-call record and published reviews.
• Zoom and Google Meet: video calls for online consultations, besides WhatsApp.

Each provider has its own privacy notice.

The Controller does not sell or rent your data. She will only disclose it to third parties, in Mexico or abroad, when:

• A law or an international treaty ratified by Mexico provides for it, or a competent authority orders it.
• It is necessary to protect your health.
• It is necessary to recognise, exercise or defend a right in legal proceedings.
• It is necessary to maintain or fulfil the legal relationship between you and the Controller.

• Messages and appointment requests: as long as needed to handle them.
• Discovery-call record (name, email, phone number and date): kept in Sanity, with access restricted to the Controller, for 24 months from the call; it is then deleted automatically.
• Clinical record: as long as the applicable regulations require.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Tax and payment data: as long as tax regulations require.

You have the right to:

• Access: know what data the Controller holds about you and how she uses it.
• Rectification: correct it if it is out of date, inaccurate or incomplete.
• Cancellation: ask for it to be deleted when you consider it is not being used in line with this notice.
• Opposition: object to its use for specific purposes.

You can also limit the use or disclosure of your data and withdraw any consent you have given. Withdrawal does not apply retroactively and, if it concerns data needed for the service, it may prevent the Controller from continuing to care for you.

For any of these requests, write to contacto@rosaiselaramirezhomeopatia.com with your name, what you are requesting, the data it concerns and a copy of your ID or that of your legal representative. The Controller will reply within 20 days of receiving your request and, if it is granted, will carry it out within the following 15 days.

If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Mexico's Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance), the authority responsible for personal data protection.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To know how many people visit it, it uses Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify visitors.

The Controller may change this notice to reflect changes in her services or in the law. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. If the purposes change, your consent will be requested again.

This notice was written in Spanish; if there is any difference with a translation, the Spanish version prevails.
