The use of this site and the request and provision of the services of Rosa Isela Ramírez Salazar (hereinafter, "the Provider") are governed by these Terms and Conditions. By using the site, requesting an appointment or hiring a service, you state that you have read and understood them.
1. Identification
Rosa Isela Ramírez Salazar has been a veterinarian (MVZ) since 1998, with professional licence (cédula profesional) number 2925168, and a certified veterinary homeopath since 2018. She sees patients in person at The Natural Vets de México, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and online.
Her services include:
- Veterinary homeopathy, in person and online.
- Homeopathy for people, online only (section 10).
- Veterinary ozone therapy, for animals only and in person.
- Online consultations, in Mexico and abroad.
- Courses and workshops.
- Natural nutrition for animals, coming soon.
Each service is subject to the assessment of the patient or client and to availability.
2. Use of the site
The content of this site, including articles, photographs and descriptions of treatments, is informative and educational. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment or a prescription for a particular case, and it does not replace a consultation: every patient and every client needs an individual assessment.
3. Appointment requests and length
Appointments are requested through this site's calendar, which sends the request by WhatsApp or by email, or directly through those channels. Appointments are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30 (Monterrey time). For other days or times, write by WhatsApp or by email.
Choosing a day and time in the calendar does not book the appointment: it is a request. The appointment is confirmed when the Provider confirms availability and, where applicable, the deposit is received (section 5).
Approximate length of each service:
- Discovery call: 10 to 15 minutes.
- First consultation for animals: about 1 hour. Patients with several health issues may need 1.5 hours or more.
- First consultation for people: about 2 hours.
- Follow-up consultation: about 45 minutes.
If more than 12 months have passed since the last consultation, a first consultation is booked instead of a follow-up.
When confirming the appointment, the Provider may adjust the requested time to the length each case needs. If the time of a confirmed appointment needs to change, she will offer you an alternative.
4. Discovery call
Anyone seeking care for the first time can request a complimentary discovery call, free of charge, of 10 to 15 minutes, to get to know each other and answer questions before the first consultation. It is offered only once per person.
To check this, the site records the name, email, phone number and date of each call (Privacy notice, section 7) and recognises a repeated request when the name and the email or phone number match. In that case, the request continues as a first consultation. The Provider always has the final say.
5. Deposit, prices and payments
Consultations are confirmed with a deposit of 50% of the total cost, which the Provider asks for when she confirms your appointment. The deposit is paid by bank transfer or online, as you are told.
The deposit is deducted from the cost of the consultation. Prices are those in force when the appointment is confirmed. Homeopathic medicines, other products and services that are not part of the consultation are charged separately; where possible, you will be told beforehand.
When payment is made online by card, it is processed by Stripe: the Provider neither receives nor stores your card details.
6. Cancellations, changes and punctuality
To cancel or change an appointment, give at least 48 hours' notice, by WhatsApp or by email:
- With 48 hours' notice or more, the deposit is applied to the new date or, if you prefer, refunded.
- With less than 48 hours' notice, or if you do not attend without notice, the deposit is non-refundable.
Refunds are made through the same payment method. In extraordinary circumstances, the Provider will consider each case.
Punctuality: there is a 10-minute grace period. After that, the consultation lasts for whatever remains of the booked time. If, because of a late arrival, you ask to reschedule the appointment, it counts as a cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice and the deposit is non-refundable.
7. During the consultation
For a friendly and effective consultation:
- Before the consultation, make sure your pet has been to the toilet. If your pet is incontinent, you can bring them in a nappy, unless fresh urine or stool samples are needed.
- On arrival, your pet is weighed.
- Always bring your pet on a leash or in a suitable carrier.
- Avoid using your phone or other distractions during the consultation.
- Limit the number of companions: at most, one patient per person.
- Let us know in advance if your pet shows signs of anxiety or aggression, so the necessary precautions can be taken.
- The last 5 minutes of the consultation are for your questions and for booking the next appointment. If you need more time for the consultation, say so when booking.
- How treatments are handed over depends on the needs of each case.
- For online consultations, be in a quiet space with your pet.
- If you or your pet have mobility problems, let us know so a suitable consulting room can be booked.
Recording audio or video and taking photographs during the consultation, in person or online, is not allowed without the Provider's permission.
8. Online consultations
Online consultations take place by video call, on WhatsApp, Zoom or Google Meet. You are responsible for having a stable connection and, if the consultation is for your animal, for having it in view when asked.
An online consultation does not allow a physical examination. If the Provider considers that the case needs an in-person examination or the care of another professional, she will tell you.
9. Veterinary homeopathy
Each patient's treatment is decided after assessing them, according to their characteristics, history and condition. The Provider may consider that a requested treatment is not appropriate and recommend another, a test or the care of another veterinarian.
The response to a treatment varies from one individual to another. No result, recovery time or cure of a disease is guaranteed. Where appropriate, homeopathy can accompany other veterinary treatments.
10. Homeopathy for people
With people, the Provider does not practise as a physician: she works only with homeopathy. She can recommend and prescribe homeopathic remedies, but she does not diagnose illnesses, does not prescribe other medicines and does not replace the care of your doctor.
Homeopathy for people focuses on strengthening the body's constitution and vitality and is not a medical treatment. It is not intended to identify, treat or prevent specific diseases.
If you are under medical treatment, do not stop or change it without consulting your doctor. Consultations for people are online only. If the consultation is for a minor, their mother, father or guardian must request it and be present.
11. Information and follow-up
For a proper assessment, you agree to provide complete and truthful information, in particular:
- Previous illnesses or diagnoses.
- Medicines, supplements or other products being given.
- Known allergies or adverse reactions.
- Previous surgery, tests or treatments.
- Recent changes in behaviour, diet or general condition.
You also agree to follow the instructions you receive, not to change the dose, frequency or duration of a treatment on your own, and to report any change promptly. If there is an unexpected reaction, contact the Provider and, if necessary, seek immediate care.
12. Emergencies
The Provider's services do not replace emergency care. If your animal or you have a serious or potentially life-threatening condition, seek veterinary or medical care immediately at a place with the necessary resources. The information on this site must not delay that care.
13. Reviews, photographs and cases
Reviews, life stories, photographs or cases of patients and clients are only published with the written authorisation of the person giving them, and without data that could identify people unless they expressly authorise it. Reviews reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee a result.
14. Intellectual property and links
The texts, photographs, logo, design and other content of this site belong to Rosa Isela Ramírez Salazar or are used with permission. Their reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written permission is prohibited, except where the law allows it.
This site links to third-party sites such as The Natural Vets de México, WhatsApp or Stripe. The Provider does not control their content, availability or policies, which are governed by their own terms.
15. Personal data, changes and governing law
Personal data is processed in accordance with this site's Privacy notice.
The Provider may update these Terms and Conditions when her services, her policies or the law change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, without prejudice to the rights granted to you by Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law.
These Terms were written in Spanish. Translations are for information only; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails. The same applies to the Privacy notice.
